1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how WeDeliver Logistics Limited uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on the WeDeliver website. It should be read together with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Local storage works in a similar way and lets a website remember information in your browser, such as the items in your basket.
3. How we use them
The Platform uses cookies, local storage, software development kits and similar technologies that are needed for functions such as authentication, shopping baskets, security, fraud prevention, essential preferences and checkout.
Because these technologies are strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, they do not require your consent. You can still remove them at any time (see section 6).
4. Storage used by this website
| Name | Purpose | Type | Kept until |
|---|---|---|---|
| wd_cart | Remembers the products in your basket | Local storage, essential | You empty the basket or clear browser data |
| wd_wish | Remembers products you saved to your wishlist | Local storage, functional | You remove them or clear browser data |
| wd_recent | Shows products you recently viewed | Local storage, functional | Clear browser data |
| wd_searches | Shows your recent searches in the search panel | Local storage, functional | Clear browser data |
| wd_view | Remembers your preferred product grid layout | Local storage, functional | Clear browser data |
| wd_cookie | Remembers that you have seen the cookie notice | Local storage, essential | Clear browser data |
| Checkout and payment cookies | Set by our e-commerce platform and payment providers (such as Stripe and PayPal) to run checkout, sign-in and fraud prevention | Cookies, essential | As set out in the provider’s own policy |
All data in this table stays in your browser. Saved products and searches are not sent to us unless you place an order or sign in.
5. What we don’t use
We do not currently use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads Pixel or TikTok Pixel. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies for which consent is required, we will ask for the required consent before using them and update this policy.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block essential storage, parts of the website such as the basket, sign-in and checkout may not work. Clearing local storage will empty your basket and wishlist on that device.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if we change the technologies we use. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
