Bepanthen® wound and healing ointment contains the proven active ingredient dexpanthenol (5%), which is converted into pantothenic acid in the skin metabolism and specifically supports the formation of healthy skin cells. The special ointment base with lanolin, paraffin and wool wax forms a moisture-preserving, breathable protective film on the skin and mucous membrane. This creates an optimal wound environment that efficiently promotes the natural healing of small, superficial injuries such as abrasions, scratches and cuts, cracked skin, brittleness or dry diaper dermatitis in babies. Even with skin irritation after tattoos or minor burns, the ointment supports by speeding up the regeneration and keeping the skin supple.
